100 Fractals : #13
Day thirteen of my #100fractals project. Electric rainbow orb submerged in the purple gauze of infinity.
Day thirteen of my #100fractals project. Electric rainbow orb submerged in the purple gauze of infinity.
Day twelve of my #100fractals project. I cheated on my Silk iPad app (my standard fractal painting app) and tried out a new one today. While I love the vibrant colors, I’m not fond of the interface or less robust options. 🙁
Day eleven of my #100fractals project. Deep within the floral pink gauzy nebula there was a cathedral of blue.
Day ten of my #100fractals project. Gazing into the heart of a black hole crackling with energy.
Day nine of my #100fractals project. Blooming burst of chaotic energy as a fractal nebula is born.
Day eight of my #100fractals project. You are now under my power with this hypnotic rainbow color spirograph fractal pattern…
Day seven of my #100fractals project. Wow! A week already, time flies when you are painting fractals. Today’s fractal is a shocking mandala burst of colors.
Day six of my #100fractals project. Entering an electric wormhole of warm colors.
Day five of my #100fractals project. A mandala-esque nebula creation for this lazy Sunday.
Day four of my #100fractals project. Today’s fractal ended up looking kinda like an “electric” wormhole/black hole.
Day three of my #100fractals project. Today’s fractal was inspired by the classic atom diagram where the particles are circling the nucleus. Within the nucleus is a mandala-like core.
Day two of my #100fractals project. I love how the yellow and purple both have such dynamic energy and compliment each other without being overwhelming. There is a lot to look at yet the focal point in the center keeps it all together.
Yep, it’s been a looong time since I’ve blogged. Lots has happened. Lemme explain… wait there is too much. Lemme sum up: I turned 40, found improv, met future wife, got married, now have 3 cute fur babies. Life really did begin at 40 for me. Now back to the art. I’ve never tired of … Read more 100 Fractals : #1
I’ve always loved outer space and finding out that images from the NASA archives are in the public domain really got my creative juices flowing!

This is the newest in my line of Petroglyph Prints, dawn of man: In the Dreamtime, long before the written word, a new figure appeared on the horizon that would change the world. Dragon Hunters is the newest in my series of Petroglyphs wherein I combine an iPhone photo (or three) and ancient Petroglyphs to tell a story from the Dreamtime era of humanity. Deep within the caves of the dreamtime, hunters do fierce battle with a fire-breathing dragon. I started with a spill on the sidewalk that … Read more New Work: Dragon Hunters
It’s funny, swimming amongst the stars was not the image I set out to create. As I was exploring a new direction with my petroglyph/photography collage, I did some experimenting. While the intent was to only have a photo background, I found this beautiful image of two swans that I took awhile back. I decided … Read more New Work: swimming amongst the stars
